Following implementation of Section 232 measures, U.S. steelmakers are investing in our nation and workforce by creating thousands of new U.S. jobs and investing in new or upgraded steel facilities.

When you also consider the suppliers and secondary job creation, the industry supports nearly two million jobs across the U.S. paying more than $130 billion in wages and benefits. From energy to infrastructure to defense, industry sectors that are critical to U.S. national economic security depend on a strong American steel industry.
